Entry Level Point and Shoot Digital Cameras – Product Review
Lately, we have received a lot of emails regarding recommendations for entry level point and shoot digital cameras. As you know, there are a lot of choices out there and each point and shoot camera has its own pros and cons. We started to write a long review highlighting the basics of entry level point and shoot digital cameras, but, while doing so, stumbled across the video above from B&H Photo. It is a couple of months old (the snowflakes in the intro give it away!) but still very relevant information today. For those of you not familiar with B&H Photo, they are the “go to” supplier of cameras and equipment for serious photographers. As Charlie likes to say, “Photographers don’t shop in a camera store; photographers shop on the B&H website.”
If you have any specific questions that come up, feel free to email Charlie at PhotoBotos@gmail.com – please don’t be upset if he doesn’t get back to you right away… he is currently on a boat off the coast of Mexico photographing migrating gray whales! Needless to say, if you love whales, stay tuned because I’m sure he will have a photo to share when he gets back. If you need a recommendation sooner than later and don’t mind a lack of technical jargon, you can email Tom at PhotoBotos@yahoo.com.
In the meantime, if you would like to research any of the entry level point and shoot digital cameras shown in the video, you can click on the B&H Banner below to visit their website.
